About Loko
Loko is building the logistics and commerce backbone for African cities. We connect restaurants, couriers, and customers across Zimbabwe with real-time dispatch, dual-currency payments, and tools that work on the networks people actually use.
We’re early, growing quickly, and solving problems that don’t have ready-made answers. Every order that moves through Loko touches software our small team writes, and the combination of hard engineering and real local impact is something we don’t take for granted.
If building a generational company out of Harare resonates with you, please apply.
The Role
Payments is the bloodstream of Loko — customers pay in USD and ZiG, merchants settle daily, and riders get paid for every trip. We’re hiring a product manager to own the end-to-end payments surface: wallets, payouts, fees, mobile money, and reconciliation.
You’ll partner with engineering, operations, and finance to prioritise what matters, ship weekly, and turn payments from a chore into a moat.
What You'll Work On
- Customer checkout: pricing, currencies, promotions, and failure-state recovery
- Merchant payouts: settlement cadence, statements, and dispute tooling
- Rider earnings: transparent pay, tips, and instant payouts where possible
- Compliance and fraud: guardrails that scale without slowing the business down
