About Loko
Loko is building the logistics and commerce backbone for African cities. We connect restaurants, couriers, and customers across Zimbabwe with real-time dispatch, dual-currency payments, and tools that work on the networks people actually use.
We’re early, growing quickly, and solving problems that don’t have ready-made answers. Every order that moves through Loko touches software our small team writes, and the combination of hard engineering and real local impact is something we don’t take for granted.
If building a generational company out of Harare resonates with you, please apply.
The Role
We’re hiring a senior UX designer to shape how customers, merchants, and riders experience Loko. You’ll own flows end-to-end — from research and IA through high-fidelity design and handoff — and partner tightly with product and engineering to make sure what ships matches the vision.
You’ll have real ownership from day one and the chance to define the design craft bar as the team grows.
What You'll Work On
- Customer app: discovery, ordering, delivery tracking, and post-order care
- Merchant dashboard: tools restaurants rely on during the dinner rush
- Rider app: fast, gloves-on, battery-friendly flows for couriers
- Design system: components, patterns, and tokens across web and mobile
