One account, many ways to move
Download the app, sign in with your phone number, and everything opens from a single Home screen. Rides when you need to get somewhere. Eats when you are hungry. More services appear as they go live in your city—so the app grows with you, not ahead of you.
There is nothing to juggle: the same profile, saved addresses, and payment preferences follow you across every service.
- Rides — request a car, see the route and a clear price before you confirm.
- Eats — browse restaurants, build a cart, and track your order to the door.
- Deliveries and more — couriers bring what you need; new verticals switch on as we grow.
How a ride works, start to finish
Set your pickup and destination, and Loko shows you the route with a guided price range. Propose a fare that feels fair, confirm, and we match you with a verified driver nearby. You see who is coming—name, vehicle, and rating—before they arrive.
During the trip, the live map keeps you oriented and in-app chat handles the “I am at the blue gate” moments without anyone swapping phone numbers. At the end, pay the way that suits you and rate the experience so the whole network gets better.
How food delivery works
Open Eats, pick a restaurant, and build your cart—customisations, kitchen notes, the lot. At checkout you choose how to pay: mobile money (EcoCash or OneMoney) or cash on delivery. Then the app keeps you honestly informed: the kitchen accepts, prepares, and seals your order; a courier picks it up; you watch it travel to your door.
When your courier arrives, you share a short delivery code from your app. It is a small ritual that confirms the right meal reached the right person—every single time.
A platform you can trust
Trust is not a feature we bolted on; it is the order in which we built things.
- Verified partners — every driver and courier completes an identity check before their first paid trip.
- Codes that confirm the moment — ride confirmation codes, restaurant pickup codes, and delivery codes keep handoffs honest.
- In-app chat — coordinate without sharing your personal number.
- Clear money — see prices before you commit; mobile-money payments are confirmed on your own phone with your own PIN.
- Ratings both ways — great behaviour is celebrated, poor behaviour is visible, and support is a tap away.
Want to earn on Loko instead?
The other half of Loko is opportunity. Drivers and couriers choose their hours, see transparent earnings per trip, and get paid for effort—not mystery math. Restaurants get a live orders console, menu tools the kitchen can actually use, and a stream of hungry customers who discover them in the app.
If that is you, start with our partner guides—then bring your energy. The marketplace is young, and early partners shape it.
Quick answers
- Which cities does Loko cover?
- We are growing city by city in Zimbabwe. Open the app and Home shows exactly which services are live where you are—no guessing, no greyed-out promises.
- Do I need mobile money to use Loko?
- No. Cash remains first-class: pay your driver at the end of a trip or your courier at the door. Mobile money (EcoCash and OneMoney) simply adds a cash-free option when you want it.
- Is Loko safe to use at night?
- Every partner is identity-verified, every vehicle and plate is shown before pickup, and confirmation codes plus in-app chat keep the trip accountable from door to door. If anything ever feels off, report it in the app—we act on it.
- Can one account do everything?
- Yes. One Loko account covers rides, food, and deliveries. Partners use the same app with a partner profile, so switching between ordering dinner and earning a living is seamless.
